Counsellor/Educator - Albany

Full time fixed term contract until June 2018 (with possibility of extension)

We are seeking a motivated person with experience and/or qualifications within the alcohol and other drug field, who thrives in a dynamic organisation. Based in Albany, the position will have a treatment and prevention focus, providing counselling and support to consumers, families and other service providers with the aim of reducing harm associated with alcohol and other drug use.

Salary range is $63,400 to $68,400.

Aboriginal Senior Counsellor/Educators - Palmerston Perth


Two positions available. Note: this appointment will be made under a Section 50(d) exemption of the Equal Opportunity Act.

Full time contract to 30 June 2018 (with possibility of extension).
 
Based at Palmerston Perth, the Aboriginal counsellor/educators will provide support to the local Aboriginal community. Possessing a sound level of clinical knowledge and skills, the counsellor educator's role is to provide culturally secure counselling, eduction and support to individuals, families and the local community. A strong sense of community connection is essential, along with good communication and yarning skills.

Salary range is $75,700 to $77,300.
