Palmerston Association is a leading and respected not for profit provider of alcohol and other drug services. We have a rich and proud history of providing support through a range of services including counselling, groups, residential rehabilitation, and educational initiatives.
The Counsellor/Educator role has both a treatment and prevention focus with the aim of reducing harm associated with alcohol and other drug (AOD) use. The successful applicant will provide professional and culturally secure AOD counselling and support to individuals, families, other service providers and local communities. We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in the alcohol and drug field.
This position is offered as an initial fixed term contract until 30 June 2023. Salaries are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. Level 4, pay point commensurate with experience, qualifications and role.
