Palmerston Association is a leading and respected not for profit provider of alcohol and other drug services. We have a rich and proud history of providing support through a range of services including counselling, groups, residential rehabilitation, and educational initiatives.
About the role
We are seeking to recruit a Casual Support Worker at our Beela Valley Residential Therapeutic Community (located in Brunswick Junction).
Support workers maintain presence and involvement within the community. Working within a multidisciplinary team structure, Support Workers role model the principles and key practices of a therapeutic community.
We are currently looking to create a pool of Casual Support Workers. Applicants must have availability to work across a 24-hour roster, 7 days a week, as overnight and weekend work is likely to be required. Penalty rates apply according to the shifts worked.
Pay Level is equivalent to Level 2 – Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.
