The Integrated Community Alcohol and Drug Services are a partnership between Palmerston and Next Step Drug and Alcohol Services.
This successful evidence based partnership provides individuals and families with access to a comprehensive range of alcohol and drug services from one location.
Palmerston provides counselling and support for individuals and their families.
Next Step provides medical and psychological services.

People can refer themselves directly or can be referred by other services including mental health, corrective services, child protection and general practitioners.

To make an appointment you can call any of our branches. You don’t need a referral and it’s free. Appointments are usually about an hour long. Evening or Saturday morning appointments are available at most branches.
We are not an emergency service. If you are hurt, or worried about someone’s safety, or you need immediate support please call 000 (Ambulance, Police, Fire Brigade) or present to your closest emergency department.
