Palmerston Association has today released its 2024–25 Annual Report, showcasing a year of renewal, growth, and meaningful impact across Western Australia. The report reflects the organisation’s ongoing commitment to supporting individuals, families, and communities affected by alcohol and other drugs, while embracing a broader focus on wellbeing, inclusion, and recovery.
A key highlight of the year was the signing of a strategic merger agreement with Sussex Street Community Law Service, creating an integrated model of care that combines alcohol and other drug support with legal assistance, financial counselling, housing advocacy, and disability services. This partnership demonstrates Palmerston’s commitment to reducing barriers to recovery and providing coordinated, person-centred support.
Palmerston was also delighted to announce the naming of its new West Leederville hub, George Davies House – in honour of one of the organisation’s founding members. The new space will bring together a range of services in a welcoming and inclusive environment that supports recovery and wellbeing, celebrating George’s enduring contribution to Palmerston’s vision.
