Palmerston will soon deliver a new integrated care hub at Oxford Close, West Leederville, thanks to a Lotterywest grant of up to $3.3 million. The investment will fund building works, fit-out, furnishings, IT and solar infrastructure for the purpose-built facility.
The development has been shaped by client and staff feedback and a strategic review of Palmerston’s services. It will provide a modern, inclusive and fully accessible environment designed around the principles of integrated care, making it easier for people to access coordinated support for alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues, mental health concerns, and broader social challenges.
The new premises will:
- Co-locate Palmerston’s client services and corporate staff, improving efficiency and enabling a stronger, joined-up approach to client care.
- Deliver welcoming and functional spaces that support recovery and wellbeing.
- Improve accessibility through transport links, disability-compliant facilities, and inclusive amenities.
- Create opportunities for collaboration with community organisations providing complementary supports.
A partnership with Uniting Smiles will also see a new dental clinic incorporated into the hub, expanding Palmerston’s integrated model of care by addressing a critical gap in oral health services for vulnerable people.

The fit-out of the new hub is being delivered by Veritruss, a Perth-based construction and refurbishment company known for its commitment to quality, integrity, and collaboration. With extensive experience across sectors including healthcare, education, government, and commercial spaces, Veritruss brings a deep understanding of complex builds and a proactive approach to planning and risk management. Palmerston is proud to partner with Veritruss to bring this transformative space to life.
Construction is expected to be completed in early 2026, with an official opening planned to celebrate the milestone and showcase the impact of the new hub.
