Palmerston was honoured to present to the Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Disability in Perth this past April, as part of the Australian Parliament’s Inquiry into the health impacts of alcohol and other drugs. The inquiry is examining how current policies, treatment services and community programs are reducing harm and supporting prevention and recovery across Australia.
Drawing on lived experience and the insights of our frontline teams, Palmerston shared its bold and innovative approach to continually improving service delivery in response to complex and evolving community needs.
Every day, we see the profound impact alcohol and other drug use has on individuals, families and communities, reinforcing the importance of practical, compassionate and evidence-based solutions.
