Palmerston Association is pleased to welcome Mandy Gadsdon to its Board, strengthening the organisation’s governance and leadership at a time of continued growth and service expansion.
Ms Gadsdon is a highly regarded leader with extensive experience in cultural governance, community engagement and organisational development. Her work spans government, not-for-profit, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, health services and the private sector. A Yawuru woman from the West Kimberley, she brings a strong commitment to culturally secure, inclusive and community-led practice.
Palmerston Board Chair Jordan Kelly said the appointment reflects Palmerston’s ongoing focus on strong governance and culturally responsive leadership.
“Mandy’s depth of experience and leadership in cultural governance and community engagement will be a significant asset to Palmerston,” Mr Kelly said. “Her appointment strengthens our Board and supports our focus on delivering high-quality, culturally secure services that respond to the needs of the communities we serve.”
Ms Gadsdon said she was honoured to join the Palmerston Board and contribute to the organisation’s important work supporting people, families and communities impacted by alcohol and other drugs.
Palmerston continues to play a leading role in the delivery of alcohol and other drug services across Western Australia, with a strong focus on prevention, treatment and long-term recovery outcomes.
